REGULAR PRACTICE
As our Sangha members are fairly widespread geographically, meeting in person is often difficult. Therefore, we rejoice in the ability of the internet to bring us together face to face, if virtually!
We meet to practice weekly on Zoom, generally every Tuesday at 9 -10.30am and every Sunday at 10 – 11am UK time. We recite the pujas in English only. H E Garchen Rinpoche tells us it is more important to understand what we are saying than to concentrate on the Tibetan.
Tuesday’s weekly practice is White Tara and is called the “Purified Drop of Immortality, A Longevity Mandala Sadhana of the Wish Fulfilling Cakra Arya Tara”. Sunday’s weekly practice is Amitabha and is called “The Meditation and Recitation of Amitabha called Uniting with the Pureland of Sukhavati”. Please email info@gartrinleyuk.com for the Zoom details for this practice.
We also have a discussion group meeting on Zoom on the fourth Thursday of the month from 7 – 8.30pm. Our Guru, H E Garchen Rinpoche, always encourages his students to contemplate and discuss the teachings of the Buddha together, so we take some time to read and discuss the “37 Practices of a Bodhisattvas Way of Life”. Zoom info the same as for Tara.
